We have it: mid century madness.
 We are divas of the divine from the 50's, 60's and such.  Here is a gem we just listed.  Can't get enough of the clean lines and fun shapes of that era.  It just translates so well into the modern home and plays so well with organic materials which are the essence of simplicity.  Bold yet simple.  These are things of joy.

The holidays are coming, oh my!

I've been saving canning jars all year for the holidays.  I hope to make fun homemade food gifts with candy canes or cinnamon sticks attached with bows.  But for those not so sure what to give, we have some wonderful and quirky items we've just listed on our Etsy site.  Some people are so hard to buy for and I know you have one of those people on your list, too.

Excited to Start

We just got this fantastic 1950's dresser for a custom order!  We can not wait to get our hands on it and make it our own.  :-D  We are thinking blue/green with some fabulous green Waverly wallpaper decoupaged on it.  Now we just have to figure out how to get it from Raleigh to High Point...  These are the times I wish I had a truck or at least a hitch on my car.

Gorgeous weather has to be an inspiration!?

Today was so breezy and unseasonably warm.  I was outside taking photos of items to list but it was so hard to focus.  I just wanted to stay outside, watching the colorful leaves drift  down, floating on the breezes and finally gathering with friends in the grass.  Sigh..... oh, focus, focus.  Where was I?  Anyone else distracted by this beautiful weather?  I love, love and love this time of year.

Our orange and red room divider left for Pittsburgh this morning :-)  Feels good that people like what we do!

New Idea!

Just finished a small corner table with a hand painted branch with blossoms on the top. Hmmm... we are thinking oriental!  Think we will start a new line of vintage oriental  items.  We have some oriental wall art we will be posting in the very near future.  This is going to be fun!!

Virginia Bound

Just packaged up our latest sale.  It's on its way to VA.  We used all recycled materials, gotta love saving the planet one reused box at a time!
